Inventories play a central role in supply chain. OptInv optimizes parameters for inventory policies on multi-location supply chain. The objective of the model in our system is to minimize the sum of the inventory, backorder and fixed ordering costs. The system seeks the best target levels of inventories for inventory points using a combination of simulation and non-linear optimization techniques.
